Spiritual Reflections, Part 2
This recording is meant to serve as an aid to spiritual reflection and it is available to all who are ready to benefit from it. The text is the copyright of the Path of Truth, published by the School of Truth, a non-denominational spiritual organisation, based in Johannesburg, South Africa and it is read by andre. The work of the School of Truth includes the bi-monthly magazine from which this material comes, and which is sent out free of charge, as well as a regular prayer group which meets every weekday at 09h30 and 11h00 CAT. It also includes spiritual counseling by mail, email and the telephone, for urgent requests. They welcome prayer requests from both members and non-members. And you are invited to join them in spirit in your own prayers at those times, knowing that you are not alone, but with two or more "gathered in My Name".

When you are in pain and distressed
An affirmation: when you are in pain, distressed and in need...
Thank you, my Father. Thank You for Your promise that in Oneness there can be no division. I know that I am in You and that You are in me.
It follows that I am One with You in Perfection. Therefore I know that my body and my mind are defined by Your Presence and that there is only one reality, Your reality, within me.
Thank You for banishing the illusion of disease, stress and a lack of material things from my mind and so from my body and my affairs. Thank you for guarding my loved ones from all harm, as I know You guard me .
In the all-revealing Light of Your Loving Presence within me I am filled with wonder to recognize disease and lack for the illusions they are. With gratitude I pass the dis-ease of this human body and its affairs into Your Keeping. I am freed of all pain, worry and discomfort.
Thank You for making me Perfect in Your Trust.
I feel a renewal of the courage that has always been within me. I rejoice in this wonderful renewal of my spirit - a glorious renewal that expresses itself in my restored mental, emotional and physical strength.
This feeling of joy in me, now, is unmistakable. It brings me to know that You are here with me in this very, very precious, private moment.
Now... peace surrounds and fills me to overflowing, so that I am able to give it on to others in great measure to share and to spare. Thank You. Thank You. In the deepest part of me, where resides the essence of You in me, I know: All Is Well!
I rejoice and my soul sings and dances with David in the Streets of Jerusalem! Thank You. Thank You, Eternal Father.

A Prayer - by Joseph S Benner
A Prayer
(Slightly adapted by me for our modern times - but with sincere reverence)This Prayer is from The Way to the Kingdom by Joseph S Benner, who wrote all his books anonymously at the time. I believe his name was only revealed after his death in 1941. This prayer has wonderful power and it is presented here for your listening pleasure. I hope it helps to change your life like it helped to change mine - andre
Beloved Father; Thou Oh blessed Christ Jesus; and Thou our dear Brothers and Sisters of the Kingdom… hear this, our earnest prayer.
Draw us in consciousness deep within where Thou art, where self exists not and where we may be one with Thee and abide with Thee in Christ.
Help us to open wide our hearts and let out Thy Great Love that It may posses us utterly, rule, motivate and inspire our every thought, word and act, merging us completely with Love, thereby enabling us to love as Thou Lovest, to see as Thou seest, to hear as Thou hearest; lifting the consciousness of our human minds into complete oneness with our Christ Consciousness - Thy Consciousness; so that henceforth we may consciously, at will, be with Thee, work with Thee, commune with Thee, face to face, at all times and on all planes, when the need is in the Father’s Service; and we may know with Thy Understanding all things we seek and need to know.
Cleanse us of all consciousness of Self and separation from Thee, so that our Lord Christ henceforth may live His Life in us, do His Will in us, be His Self in us, without let or hindrance of any kind, for evermore.
Beloved Father, make us to abide always in Thy Consciousness and Thy Word to abide in us, giving us ever of Thy Wisdom to light and direct our way, Thy Will to strengthen and sustain us and Thy Love to surround, protect and fill us; so that we may see Thee, dear Christ, may feel thy glorious presence within us, may know Thee, may be truly One with Thee, everywhere, in everything, and in every one of our brothers and sisters.
We thank and glorify Thee, beloved Father, for Thy many Blessings. Take us wholly unto Thyself, so that we may be selfless and perfect instruments for Thy use.
In Christ Jesus’ Name we ask it. Amen
